Human Resource, Administrative Manager - Sydney

About the Role
Nippon Food Supplies head quarter team in Sydney is seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resource/Administrative Manager to lead in varied assets of HR tasks as well as administrative tasks. You will work with our outstanding team to address needs the company is eager to fulfill.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the administrative functions of the company
  • Provide ongoing support to Directors/CEO/CFO on a daily basis
  • Oversee and prioritise the workload of administrative assistance within the team
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage or advise on recruitment and retention
  • Oversee and evaluate overall HR and admin strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Develops training and performance management program that ensures all employees are familiar with their job responsibilities, as well as relevant legal and safety requirements
  • Handles investigation and resolution of employee issues, concerns and conflicts
  • Ensures all employment practices comply with national, state and local regulations
  • Account management and stakeholder engagement
  • General HR / administrative tasks with potential of fulfilling account receivable/payable work
  • Oversees the day-to-day activities of the admin team

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager, Administrative manager or other executive roles
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of HR/Admin systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Extensive understanding of the Fair Work Act, employment legislation and the ability to effectively interpret and apply various industrial instruments
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and Japanese
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Payforce, MYOB EXO will be highly regarded

Essential:

  • Permanent Resident VISA holder or Australia Citizen
  • NSW permitted driver licence

Delivery Staff - Sydney

The role will entail delivering orders of specialty food to our restaurant and supermarket customers. You'll be driving our 2 Tonne (Minimum 8.5 Cubic Meter Capacity) White van or larger which only require a car driver’s license. We will provide training as you go on specialty food!

Due to demand and growth NIPPON FOOD SUPPLIES (Japanese food supplier) multi drop off to customer.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and enjoyable place to work.

There is a spot 30+hours/weekly available. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 8:30am. Finish times will vary depending on that day's work load. Shifts are regular and rosters are released well in advance so you can rely on getting good hours.

The successful applicant must;

  • Have a manual car drivers license with a good driving record
  • You must have a current NSW drivers licence, an international licence is accepted for "3 months only" from commencement
  • You must be physically fit and able to lift cartons and other items in and out of your vehicle.
  • Be able to work Monday to Friday.
  • Past experience as a delivery driver

Warehouse staff- Sydney

The role will entail warehousing orders of specialty food to our restaurant and supermarket customers. You'll be working at our warehouse. We will provide training as you go on specialty food!

  • Have a current Police check or willing to pass a police check
  • Be able to work Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • Unloading and loading goods.
  • Stock put away
  • Order picking
  • Warehouse cleanliness
  • General warehouse duties
  • Customer Service
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks
  • Driving Company vehicles(doing deliveries)

Job Type: FULL-TIME

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift a day

Salary: $24.08 - $25.58 per hour

We are seeking candidates for the Japanese Food Ingredients Sales.

The key responsibilities and duties:

・promoting and selling Employer’s products such as Japanese grocery and liquor products;
・acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors'; products, and market conditions;
・using directories and other sources to compile lists of prospective business clients;
・visiting clients and retail outlets to establish selling opportunities;
・quoting prices and credit terms, recording orders and arranging deliveries;
・following up clients and ensuring satisfaction with products and services and resolving any problems;
・monitoring clients'; changing needs and competitor activity and reporting on these developments to sales and marketing management; and
・preparing sales reports.

Profile

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
